Number field

The Number field icon (number or hash symbol) number field stores a numeric value. For example, age or number of items in stock.

Only numeric values are stored; any non-numeric characters are removed when you leave the field.

What's this in FileMaker?

Number fields in Claris Studio are similar to number fields in FileMaker Pro apps, except that you can't add formatting or enter text.

When connected to your Claris Studio data source, FileMaker Pro apps can access these fields as FileMaker number fields.
